Freeze Protection Products
Nuheat’s line of self-regulating and mineral insulated (MI) freeze protection products provides freeze protection for metal or plastic pipes, roof and gutter de-icing, and slab de-icing for commercial and residential applications.
All Nuheat freeze protection products can be controlled using a variety of thermostats, controllers, sensors, and control panels.
Home Pipe Freeze Protection Products
Nuheat self-regulating heating cables for pipe freeze protection are installed on metal and plastic pipes to prevent them from freezing. The self-regulating cable technology automatically adjusts the heat output of the cable based on the pipe temperature to optimize energy consumption.
9FP Cable:
Nuheat 9FP self-regulating heating cables are designed for residential and commercial pipe freeze protection applications for indoor/outdoor metal or plastic pipes.
13FP Cable:
Nuheat 13FP self-regulating heating cables are designed for commercial and residential pipe freeze protection applications for indoor/outdoor metal or plastic pipes (can also be used for roof & gutter deicing).
Plug-In Kit:
Nuheat plug-in self-regulating heating cables are designed for residential and commercial pipe freeze protection applications. Suitable for metal or plastic pipes, Nuheat plug-in self-regulating heating cables are available in 120V and can accommodate pipes up to 6 inches in diameter*.
Roof & Gutter De-icing Products
Ice dams and icicles can cause extensive and costly damage to roof and gutter systems. Nuheat self-regulating heating cables for roof & gutter de-icing are installed on roofs and placed inside gutters and downspouts to create and maintain drain paths for water. The self-regulating cable technology automatically adjusts the heat output of the cable based on the surrounding temperature to reduce energy consumption.
13RG Cable:
Nuheat optimal 6-watt self-regulating roof and gutter de-icing cables are designed for commercial and residential applications to create drain paths needed to prevent ice dams and ice build-up that can cause extensive damage to roof and gutter systems.
13FP Cable:
In addition to pipe freeze protection applications, Nuheat 13FP self-regulating cables offers alternative wattage options for roof and gutter de-icing applications.
T-Panel System:
Thermal Technologies’ aluminum T-Panel System is designed for maximum heat transfer to clear the entire roof edge from snow and ice as opposed to just creating drain paths for melt-water. The T-Panel System is available in various powder-coated colors and textures.
Slab De-icing & Snow Melting Products
Nuheat MI constant wattage cables are ideal for snow and ice melting applications in concrete, asphalt or under paving stones. Nuheat MI Cables can handle supply voltages up to 600V making the cables an optimal solution for snow and ice melting especially in applications where available amperage is limited.
